Key Biscayne “Country Club”…

November 9, 2018 by Javier Leave a Comment

Yo Mas & Beckham and our Self Serving City Commissioner.

You All [email protected]#$% up by going after Melreese when you could have had this View from another Local Public Golf Course…

While I am disappointed that the Referendum passed to allow some really big hitters to Rape the public with a Huge No Bide development deal (with a soccer stadium thrown in for shits & giggles) knowing that it will cause all sorts of Hell for the local Neighborhoods, I do hope that when the Lease comes before the Commissioners that at the very least the 2 who opposed the original proposal will live up to their “Quality of Life” positions and Vote No.

That would show some real Cojones by D1 & D4

Sadly we already know how Boy Wonder voted and we know we can’t count on him for any “Quality of Life” issues Unless….they are across the street from him.

First Walkthru…

November 8, 2018 by Javier Leave a Comment

For Jorge..

And he handled it like a true Pro.

Poor guy has never done one of these and he gets to the Walkthru and finds this in front of the Building and to top it off….

The boom is right in front of the unit!

Make matters worst?

While doing the walkthru, damn boom is going up and down right in front of balcony.

So what’s a new agent to do?

Lower the blinds and hope no one goes outside!

Gotta Love this GIG…

Miami Herald….Really???

October 28, 2018 by Javier Leave a Comment

So today the Herald endorsed voting yes to the No Bid, Melreese golf course takeover by Mas and some Brit named Beckham and while I am completely against this massive Real Estate deal it does not surprise me that the Herald would cave to any development interest.

I don’t hold the Heralds editorial board in high esteem as I got to see them in action first hand….

True story (and one of my 2 regrets when running for D2 Commissioner)

The Herald requested that all candidates for the commission seat come to their offices for a sit down to answer questions and in truth have a mini debate on positions. When we got there we were taken to a conference room with 3 board members and David Smiley who at the time was the local political reporter.

We sat down and when I looked around I noticed that Ken Russell was not present and I asked “Hey where’s Boy Wonder” and they replied “Oh he could not make it today, so we let him come in yesterday”

AND

Regret 1….. I stayed and debated the 7 other candidates when I should have gotten up and left as the one candidate that I could not call all his bullshit was not there.

AND

Guess who the Herald endorsed?

You guessed it…Boy Wonder.

BTW; there is a lot more to why they endorsed him…and lets just say it was an inside job.

SO..

Take the Heralds endorsement of any Candidate/Amendment/Issue for what its worth “NADA”

Vote No to Melreese, Strong Mayor and just to piss them off…No to the MRC.

Words you do want to hear…

October 24, 2018 by Javier Leave a Comment

So after the “Hey Jav, we have a problem” Call yesterday….

I got the “Hey Jav, we’re all good”

Which means that if you ignore the call and not freak, nor Micro manage other good agents they will step up and solve the problem. My thinking has always been that they should be given room to operate seeing as it’s their deal and they know whats been going on.

Which leads me to ALL the other agents out there that when I call and say “Hey, trouble in Paradise” (My code word for we’re [email protected]#!ed) they all want to know details and get all up in my stuff.

Relax, I let you do your stuff, let me do mine!

BTW, I got another call this week from an agent who was worried about their side of the deal going bad and super apologetic and wanted to make sure I understood if they needed a few more days to close and I said…

Tranquillo Dude, I know you got this….and pour another single malt.
