Mods vs Meds Part 2

After the South Grove and Village West study I moved on to Center Grove where again, Meds won over Mods by a landslide.

127 T3-O Meds to 28 T3-O Mods (I did not include PUDs…and if you don’t know what those are…again stop reading!)

And for those who were offended by my “If you don’t know what a T3 are ” comment on a previous post, well here are some pictures to help you out.

T3-R is a Single Family Residence and tend to look like this:

T3-O are “Fancy Duplexes” and they tend to look like this.

What most folks are freaking out about are theses…….White Boxes and I am proud to say, I was one of the first Realtors to ever use that description in an MLS Description way back when.

I happen to like the last one, it looks like it took “Shrapnel” during a siege of the next doors neighbor’s lot.

So why am I doing this?

Remember first I have “Splaining” issues, and second I have a shirt that clearly states “I know things”…

Mods and Meds can co exist and have been doing so for many years in the Grove, does anyone remember some dude named “Alfred Browning Parker” and some cats named “Kiehnel and Elliot”?

We can argue bad design on all spectrum’s of home building and I get that we are under “siege” but if we do want to protect our little piece of heaven we better concentrate our efforts on what makes us special.
